Our vision is to see Haiti flourish as a free nation unbound by the cycle's poverty and injustices that have long afflicted it. We aspire to help Haiti's next generation of leaders achieve their goals professional goals and aspirations to uplifting their communities as a whole.

Our MISSION:

(1) Empower Haiti's next generation of leaders through prayer and discipleship.

(2) Provide critical support to Haiti's local businesses through business grants and education.

(3) Advance Haiti's security, sovereignty, and stability through purposeful policy reform.

Programs & Initiatives:

PEACE INITATIVE

The peace initiative is our plan to launch a mentorship and discipleship program designed to connect the Haitian Youth with Christian mentors in Haiti and the Haitian Diaspora. Under the discipleship programs mentors and mentees will meet periodically at Bible Study and Church Services for spiritual growth and development in Christ. Mentors and mentees will also connect individually for peer-to-peer mentorship on career and professional development.

PROSPERITY INITIATIVE

The prosperity initiative is the organization's mission to Provide grants for small business owners in Haiti and free business education to equip Haiti's entrepreneurs and small business owners with educational tools and technological resources needed to succeed

We also aspire to partner with Haiti's' schools, churches, and civic organization to fund and develop businesses that provide essential programs and services to local communities such as: (i) credit cooperatives, (ii) waste & recycling centers, (iii) renewable energy companies, and other enterprises.

JUSTICE INITIATIVE

The Justice Initiative is our strategic plan to develop and advocate for policies that promote Haiti's stability, self–autonomy, and economic growth. All policy proposals will be developed by members of the Haitian community and introduced to lawmakers in Haiti and the United States.

About the Founder:

Djess Jacques, Esq.

Haiti Freedom Project, Inc. was established in 2024 by Djess Jacques, who was born in the United States and spent part of his upbringing in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Through this experience, Djess developed a deep love and appreciation for Haiti’s hidden history, vibrant culture, and resilient people.

Moved by the ongoing crises and political instability that have plagued the nation, Djess felt compelled to do more than offer prayers for Haiti in its time of need, he wanted to offer solutions.

Inspired by the biblical story of Nehemiah and God's approach in restoring the walls of Jerusalem and the faith of His people, through divine provision and the unified efforts of the community, Djess felt called to partner with God to address real-world problems affecting Haiti.

Following the example of Nehemiah, Djess aims to merge the resources of heaven with the collective strength and support of the Haitian Diaspora to rebuild and transform Haiti into a safe, secure, and prosperous nation.
