Haiti Freedom Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to equipping young leaders with the tools and resources needed to nurture their personal and professional growth and development. We are also invested in partnering with Haitian enterprises to provide Haiti’s next generation of leaders through: (i) Discipleship, (ii) Business Grants & Education, and
(iii) A Forum for Policy Development.
Haiti Freedom Project, Inc. was established in 2024 by Djess Jacques, who was born in the United States and spent part of his upbringing in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Through this experience, Djess developed a deep love and appreciation for Haiti’s hidden history, vibrant culture, and resilient people.
Moved by the ongoing crises and political instability that have plagued the nation, Djess felt compelled to do more than offer prayers for Haiti in its time of need, he wanted to offer solutions.
Inspired by the biblical story of Nehemiah and God's approach in restoring the walls of Jerusalem and the faith of His people, through divine provision and the unified efforts of the community, Djess felt called to partner with God to address real-world problems affecting Haiti.
Following the example of Nehemiah, Djess aims to merge the resources of heaven with the collective strength and support of the Haitian Diaspora to rebuild and transform Haiti into a safe, secure, and prosperous nation.
At Haiti Freedom Project, Inc. prayer is not a last resort but a first response.
